How to make outgoing calls

Internal Extension Call

To make free, on site, internal calls dial the 4 digit extension number. This is the last 4 digits of the phone number. Calls to any other site using the 0870 xxx xxxx number will be charged at 1p when using a Masterpoint account or phone card.

External Calls

To make an external call you will need to either purchase a phone card from the office or open an online telephone account at www.ringring.me.uk.

To make a call using a phone card dial 123 and when prompted enter the PIN from the card.

To make a call using an online account dial 121 and when prompted enter the PIN given to you when you opened the account at www.ringring.me.uk

You will need to enter the PIN every time you call the system, if you wish to make a ‘follow on call’ do not hang up and dial ##. The system will then ask you to dial the next number.

Free phone numbers

Calls to free phone numbers (0800) are charged a 50p call set up fee and must be dialled using a Masterpoint calling card or account.

 

Voicemail

Unanswered incoming calls will forward to your voice mailbox. If a caller leaves a message in your mailbox you will receive notification by means of an intermittent/'broken' dial tone on your phone.

To recover your message dial 2580 and follow the system prompts.
